The Library Partnership
The Maryland Library Partnership was formed under Section 23-206 of the Laws of Maryland Relating to Public Libraries. "Any two or more boards of library trustees acting as incorporators . . . may organize a cooperative library corporation to administer joint library projects . . . . The Partnership is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization formed for educational purposes. The Partnership is governed by a Board consisting of library directors and library trustees. The Partnership now includes all of the Boards of Trustees in Maryland to provide for statewide training for librarians and for statewide projects of benefit to library patrons.
